Experimental + multi-format publication Visionaire has pioneered issues that are wearable, edible, audible, sprayable, playable, magical, tactile, digital, and with issue 63 FOREVER — indestructible. At the intersection of art and fashion, this issue features the work of Mario Testino and Kate Moss, Richard Avedon with Penelope Tree, Karl Lagerfeld and Baptiste Giabiconi, Inez and Vinoodh with Lady Gaga, Yoko Ono, Steven Klein, Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari with Linda Evangelista, Gilbert and George, Craig McDean and Solve Sundsbo.

CONCEPT

I worked on the FOREVER issue during my time on the concepting + design team at Visionaire. Each issue is complete with an all-metal case acting as a frame and ten embossed “pages.” Working with a new software to translate the art to etched and embossed reliefs was a challenging and rewarding experience. The art was then translated and further used for a limited-run collaboration with the Gap and a Warhol factory-esque party issue launch party as experientially-conceived by Bureau Betak.
